What are reciprocal links?
Reciprocal links are links that are exchanged between two websites. For example, website A links to website B and website B links back to website A. There are some Link Exchange systems designed to help find websites that may be willing to exchange links. Link Exchanges are a simple and effective way of getting lots of links to your website, however the value of
these links is considered to be much lower than non-reciprocal inbound links.
What are non-reciprocal/one-way links?
A one-way (non reciprocal) link to a website without that website linking back again. For example, website A might link to website B but website B does not link back to website A. One-Way links are much more valuable than reciprocal (Exchanged) links however it is generally much more difficult to find people who are willing to link to your website without link back to their site.
